Where Thomson Reserve is
CapitaLand gives six project addresses: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 Bright Hill Drive. OneMap independently maps 1 Bright Hill Drive as Thomson Reserve (under construction) at Singapore 579580, with coordinates 1.356314367834952, 103.8312388969345.
The OneMap result should not be stretched beyond what it verifies. It confirms one project address, its map point and postal code; it does not confirm the postal codes or exact lobby locations for all towers.
Final pedestrian and vehicle entrances matter more for practical trips than a general site pin. A sales map in the supplied material is illustrative and not to scale, so apparent route lengths should not be measured from that image.
What is confirmed about Upper Thomson MRT
CapitaLand says residents will have direct connectivity to Upper Thomson MRT station, and UOL describes the site as next to the station. These are developer descriptions of the relationship between the site and station; they do not by themselves prove a specific gate-to-platform time.
LTA identifies Upper Thomson as one of the six Thomson-East Coast Line Stage 2 stations and states that TEL2 passenger service began on 28 August 2021. The station is therefore an operating transport node, not a proposed future stop.
A brochure claim of a two-minute sheltered walk has not been adopted as an independently verified fact. Its start point, end point, route, opening status and shelter continuity were not established through a field audit in the supplied research.
What the station serves nearby
LTA says Upper Thomson station serves Thomson Plaza and dining establishments along Upper Thomson Road. CapitaLand's 1 July 2025 acquisition release also says the project site is close to Thomson Plaza.
These sources support the presence of retail and dining in the station area, but not a universal walking time from every future tower. Practical access may vary with the project's final gate, road crossings, station exit and the particular destination inside a mall or street cluster.
For nature context, NParks lists Upper Thomson MRT among the nearby stations for the Central Catchment Nature Reserve and identifies popular entrances at Windsor Nature Park and MacRitchie Reservoir Park. This supports area-level access; it does not mean every park entrance is walkable from the development.
Route details that still need verification
A defensible walking audit should begin at the actual public pedestrian gate and end at a named Upper Thomson MRT entrance. It should record the route, crossings, gradients, stairs or lifts, temporary works, shelter gaps and whether the route is open to the public on the inspection date.
Timing should be repeated at an ordinary pace and labelled as observed rather than guaranteed. A site-boundary measurement should not be presented as a resident's tower-to-platform journey, and construction access should not be assumed to be the future resident entrance.
The route should be checked again when approved sales plans identify the final access arrangement and after construction changes the public realm. Until then, exact minute, distance, sheltered and step-free claims remain unresolved.
How to use the location evidence
Treat the operating MRT station and established Upper Thomson amenities as confirmed area context. Treat future entrances, internal walking distance, exposure to roads or rail infrastructure and views as unit- and plan-dependent questions.
Prospective buyers should compare the final site plan with an official map, then test the route personally when lawful public access permits. The useful questions are not only distance: crossings, weather protection, accessibility, opening hours and the return route with children or groceries can change day-to-day usability.
Any sales representation about a direct or sheltered connection should be checked against the approved brochure and prescribed plans when released. Developer wording is relevant evidence, but the completed connection may differ from an early concept.
